Writing allows me to connect with myself and communities across the globe. It is my preferred medium of self-expression as well as exploration of the world around me.
Politically, I have prior experience in field, finance, communications, and policy on campaigns and government work from the local to national level. Serving my community through governmental work has given me hands-on experience in seeing the real value of public service.
I also have a passion for journalism, with significant experience writing and editing for numerous digital and print publications. I am comfortable writing and editing assignments on any range of subjects.
Staying involved in nonprofits keeps me active in my community and allows me to give back. From working with groups advocating for environmental justice to refugee and migrant entrepreneurship, it is richly rewarding to make a difference in the lives of your community members.
In 2022, I graduated from Boston University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Spanish with a minor in History. In 2024, I graduated with a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies from the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University. Once a Terrier, always a Terrier.
Studying and interning abroad in Madrid in the spring of 2020 helped me fall in love with language. Further travel to Spain, France, Portugal and Mexico only deepened that passion. An ideal day for me involves getting the chance to chat, read, or write in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
When I have a book in my hands, I’m happy. Reading is one half of writing, so from fiction to news I maintain a well-balanced information digest. I feel like the helmsman of a ship when I’m typing on my keyboard. When I’m not writing, find me watching soccer, running, cooking, roaming aimlessly around the city, and above all else, spending time with friends and family, life’s greatest pursuit.
I am a mosaic of my support system. My family, friends, and all the other people in my life make me who I am. To these people I owe mountains of gratitude.
One last thing: I apologize to no one for my affinity for the color blue. What a great color.
